Do You Know....??

Does passive smoking occur even while the smoker is not currently smoking? I mean...if someone is not smoking at some time, are the people nearby affected coz of his smoking habit?
Answer:
Yes.. the smoke of the tobbaco when enters the lungs damages the lungs equally as it does to the smoker.
Huh? Not sure what you mean? Let's say there is a smoker and they do smoke in their car--but someone gets in and the smoker doesn't light-up. As long as the smoker has rolled a window down a bit since the last cigarette, then there is NO second-hand smoke in the car. So, the other person could not be effected at all. The same with a home--if they smoke inside (most people don't anymore).
Now if you mean the smoker goes somewhere where no one has ever smoked and doesn't light-up there---then their smoking habit couldn't possibly effect anyone because there is no smoke. Here is some great information on second-hand smoke from the American Cancer Society:http://www.cancer.org/docroot/ped/conten...
I know i shouldn't answer this , but NO. How can they be affected other than the smell that may be on you.
WHAT?
Please see the web page for more details on Passive smoking.
The answer would be no generally speaking. However, if the smoker has recently smoked a cigarette and has not washed their hands, mouth or changed clothing - yes, it is still harmful to others.
We're talking toxic, invisible, yet harmful gases. So whether they can be seen, or if the chemical/smoke/toxins enter our bodies via portal entry (inclusive of skin) it doesn't matter...just the residue alone can harm others both directly and indirectly.I should also add that when a pregnant woman discusses the whole smoking 'situation/scenario' with her OB/GYN, they will tell them the same thing.
A person doesn't have to be around smoke or around a smoker while a cigarette is burning to endure second-hand smoke consequences.
Your unborn and/or newborn child is still harmed (by second hand smoke) even if you smoke in another area of the home, close off all the adjacent doors, smoke on the front porch, air out your vehicle before placing the child in the babyseat, blah blah blah.
The only way the baby can remain unharmed is for you to go outside to smoke, keep a separate item of clothin specifically for smoking, remove the item before allowing it to come into contact with furniture, baby's clothing and for God sakes - the baby, wash your hands, rinse your mouth, etc.THEN the baby shouldn't get any second-hand harm. Now, if you have a cold and you're hacking all over - don't smoke.you'll be releasing those toxins for a while before they're gone.
