ifso tell mee about it
Answer:
It was a huge, luxury ocean liner that was sailing to america, but it never made it because it sank in the middle of the ocean after hitting an iceberg. The iceberg punctured holes along the side of the ship and it began to fill with water. Almost everyone died.

I think was a big ship that sunk when it hit an iceberg, There may be some kind of movie about it.
Here are a couple of website to help you.
yep i know about it
The Titanic was a ship that was said to be undestructable. It took about 2000 people places but one day in April around 2 a.m. it struck an iceberg. Since the ship was believed undestructable, there were only about half as many life boats (small emergency boats) as was needed. Women and children got on first and then the important men followed. It was extremeley unsafe to be in the water because you would freeze within 3 minutes. If you want more information, try watching TITANIC with Leonardo DiCaprio.
April 1912
Biggest ship ever made (although it did have a twin ship called Britania)
Was carrying the creme de la creme of fashionable rich from Europe to New York.
It hit an iceberg and (although it was advertised and believed to be "unsinkable") it sank in a few hours. Second class, third class and steerage class people were locked inside and most of them died. There werent nearly enough life boats and the few there were were capriciously set afloat half full of rich women.
Over 1500 people froze in the North Atlantic waters - and transAtlatic travel was never the same again.
Big boat, 4 funnels, unsinkable.Sank on her maiden voyage in April 1912 killing about 1000 people.Raised in 1980 in a film, sank again a few years later in another film.Still miles down at the bottom of the Atlantic
The titanic was an ocean liner made by the White Star Line. It was sailing from Ireland to New York on it's first trip. On April 14, 1912 at around 2 am, it struck an iceberg and ended up sinking, and there were only enough lifeboats for a little over half of the people on board. Over 700 people died, about half of the passengers and crew. There is no Jack and Rose. Whoever said that obviously only knows the story through the movie, and that part was fictional. If you want to know about the Titanic, don't just watch the movie. It's good but it doesn't offer enough information about what really happened.
It was sailing from Southampton to New York, stopping in Ireland along the way.
It set had been sailing for three days, when late in the evening of the 3rd day (14th April, 1912), it tragically hit an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean. It subsequently sank, despite being dubbed as "Unsinkable" and the designer of the ship had even been quoted to say "Even God Himself wouldn't be able to sink this ship".
She sank in the early hours of the morning on 15th April, 1912.To add to the tradegy, the law at the time stated that only a minimum of 16 lifeboats were required for a ship of her size. White Star Line, the owners of the Titanic, had been "generous" in actually putting 20 lifeboats in: which was still only enough for just over half of all the crew and passengers on board.Britain's investigations into the number of deaths came up with 1490 people (the Yanks came up with 1517 deaths). It's still considered to be on of the worst maritime disasters during peace-time ever.Hows that? Hope you learnt something 'cos it took me ages to write that lot up and read up on it myself!
